According to the club’s official media, Mohammad Rabiei said in the post-match press conference:

“I would like to congratulate Gol Gohar Sirjan; they also worked hard in this match. I also thank our entire team and players. They made a tremendous effort, and I believe that throughout the 90 minutes — except for a few short spells — we were in control of the game.

“We scored in the first half, and in the second half we looked to capitalize on counterattacks. We hit the post and had one-on-one opportunities that didn’t convert. We needed to be more precise with our final touches to secure a more comfortable win. Gol Gohar is a strong team; they rarely allow opponents many chances and have beaten top contenders. This was a valuable three points for us.”

Rabiei continued:

“Considering our tight schedule, this was a crucial victory. The players worked extremely hard and played with full commitment and pride. They made our supporters happy, and we dedicate this win to our fans and the club owner.”

In response to a question about Tractor’s aerial challenges, he said:

“Given the profile of our squad, these are the players we have, and we will move forward with them.”

Addressing the title race, Rabiei noted:

“The table situation cannot be ignored. As I mentioned earlier, when competing in two tournaments, physical and mental recovery is essential. We had a tough match in Bandar Anzali and another demanding one today, and we also have a very important game ahead in the UAE. If at times we lost possession more easily than I prefer, it was due to the pressure of the standings and the congested fixture list. Gol Gohar is a quality side — they have defeated Persepolis FC and drawn with Sepahan SC. This was a valuable win. We have great respect for them. We will continue this process and fight for the championship until the final day.”

When asked when fans would fully see Tractor shaped under his philosophy, Rabiei said:

“We have advanced some aspects of our work in theory, but we lack sufficient training time. We take it match by match. Due to the heavy schedule, I am not making major changes to the team’s overall tactical framework. As you’ve seen, I am gradually rotating more players into the lineup. In the matches against Gol Gohar and Malavan FC, we did not allow any serious chances — for example, today Reza Asadi had a header that Beiranvand collected comfortably. We aim to limit opponents’ opportunities. This requires both practical and theoretical work. We have three days until a major knockout match in the AFC Champions League Elite, and hopefully we will come through it successfully.”
