Zonouzi: The ethnicities of Iran are connected like a chain and do not separate from one another / Tractor's participation in the reconstruction of war-torn areas

The owner of Tractor Club said: Iran is being hit for this very reason, so that it does not have sufficient military power, united people, and integrated ethnicities. But the ethnicities of Iran are connected like a chain and do not separate from one another; the continuation of our path means that we are standing and we are rebuilding Iran from anew.

According to Tractor Club's official media, Mohammad Reza Zonouzi Motlagh, in an interview with the Sports Channel, while condemning the Zionist-American aggression against the homeland, stated regarding the details of his letter to the FIFA President: In that letter, I wrote to Mr. Infantino: you have given a peace award to someone who has invaded our country and martyred our innocent people; you gave a peace award to someone who attacked a girls' school in Minab and killed our girls, defenseless people, and athletes, and destroyed sports infrastructure. The person who has thrown the region into chaos has received the peace award.

He added: After this letter, Mr. Infantino attended the Iranian national team's camp in Antalya. We also sent this letter to all major federations and clubs, many of whom, including FC Barcelona, responded and announced that they had informed the club president and the head of the fan club. I think this was an important step, and God willing, we will see its results soon.

Zonouzi continued regarding recent controversies: I saw a number of traitors to the country who, by releasing a video, called me a separatist and said things that are befitting of themselves. In response to these people, I say: I am after the disintegration of you, not the disintegration of my country. If we are to take action, we will disintegrate you. I defend my homeland; when a foreign country attacks Iran and kills your compatriots, and you support them, now tell me, who is the real separatist? Me or you? What sane person gives a green light to an attack against his own country? In a family dispute, do you invite the neighborhood bully to punish family members? I will disintegrate those who are selling the homeland.

He stated: Where are those who wanted war and attack? The enemy has attacked our infrastructure and committed war crimes. Do you think bombs and missiles discriminate, so that they do not fall on someone who supported the war? There are those who may have disagreed with the political structure, but they strongly oppose these events and attacks on infrastructure. Less than one percent of Iranians abroad support war. No honorable Iranian would accept an attack on his country.

The owner of Tractor Club noted: My firm belief is that even if we gave up many privileges, including nuclear energy and missile capability, and accepted human rights based on their interpretation and will, they would still attack.

Zonouzi emphasized: The enemies have a problem with the entirety of Iran and know that with disintegration, Iran becomes weak; so they seek to turn Iran into small countries. Iran geographically connects the west to the east and the north to the south, and there is no similar country in the world with this feature. We have been under sanctions for 47 years; energy and fuel have become expensive for one month now, and everyone is complaining. Which country can influence the whole world during war? Iran is being hit for this very reason, so that it does not have sufficient military power, united people, and integrated ethnicities. Regarding the activities of Premier League clubs for the reconstruction of war-damaged areas, he said: I am the dust under the feet of Iran. I was traveling before the war started and could not return; but yesterday I arrived in Istanbul and I am coming to Iran. I will certainly take necessary actions and will help rebuild Iran more than any other club.

Zonouzi added: The war has been going on for more than a month, all our factories have shut down, and I have suffered huge losses. I do not like to talk about difficulties. Several times friends told me that you always talk about Iran but do not speak about your economic enterprises; my answer was that Iran must exist for me to exist. Until today, no one can say that I have prioritized my personal interests. I have always said we will build a better one later, and now all of our first priority should be Iran.

Regarding the Ricardo Alves case, he said: The verdict of this case has been announced, but I have not even thought about this matter at all. Right now, our country is the most important issue we need to talk about and say what terrible genocide is taking place here; that is why I did not think for a second about the Alves case.

Zonouzi, regarding the continuation of the league, stated: In my opinion, foreign players will not return for now, but we can hold the league ourselves and announce that we are continuing matches under war conditions to show the world that we continue our path even under bombs and missiles. Even though we have the most foreign players, it is better to hold the league this year and not pay attention to the teams' standings for now. The continuation of the league means that we are standing and we are rebuilding Iran from anew.

Zonouzi also stated regarding the match against Shabab Al-Ahli of the UAE in the Elite League: Do you think the situation is suitable for us to go there? Will our foreign players come to a country that is at war? It is clear that they have announced they will not come. When a minor incident happened in Iran, they would quickly take the hosting right away from us; where is the AFC now? Why is it not addressed that Tractor's foreign players are not willing to travel due to the lack of security in the destination country? Justice must be observed. Iranian clubs were deprived of hosting many times; let them be deprived once. When the US embassy in that country has warned its citizens to leave and go to a safe place, we have also sent these documents to FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation. With these conditions, how can we convince our players to play there? Three months ago, why did they deprive us of hosting? Was there a war then?

Regarding the national team's presence in the World Cup, he said: In my letter to Mr. Infantino, I stated that you gave a peace award to someone who attacked our country, fired missiles at a girls' school, martyred our students and compatriots, and committed war crimes. He said from the official podium, addressing the Iranian national team: Do not come here because you are not safe; Mr. Infantino must answer for this contradiction. Of course, he announced that the first requirement of the World Cup is security. Presence in the World Cup is the right of this national team and the right of these people. Mr. Ghalenoei and his assistants are also sincerely working hard. We held the national team camp with the minimum facilities and the players went to the camp by bus, which made it difficult; so I thank him and the technical staff.

The owner of Tractor Club added: As a soldier of the homeland, I am devoted to the people. I kiss the hands of the soldiers who defend Iran with all their hearts and I am the dust under the feet of these dear ones. The armed forces of the country truly work hard, and as an Iranian, I sincerely appreciate them and wish them well. I hope we emerge victorious from this imposed war. I also thank the people who, every night, give courage to the entire nation with their presence; my words are incapable of expressing their sacrifice.

Regarding the issue of reconstruction for the affected compatriots, he noted: I will immediately appoint a team to start the work, but I do not like these actions to be too publicized; these are our duty, not publicity. My everything is Iran, and all my assets are also on this soil. We must look at compatriots outside Iran differently; they are all Iranian, and we must try to attract them, not repel them. Of course, traitors and sellouts are a different story, and their fate is clear. I criticize some of IRIB's programs; programs should be aimed at attracting all Iranians from all over the world. I know people who have not come to Iran for 40 years, but now their hearts and minds are with this land; we must have a fresh start to attract these people.
